Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

One of the things you can do right away is get 'too busy' to be depressed. Try not to give yourself time for it. BUSY,busy, busy. Idling invites depression ... and it will come. See a doctor and get yourself busy.
I'm sorry that you are struggling with depression. Occasionally, I have my moments with sadness as well. I'm in control only by the grace of a Higher Power (God).
Today, I sat in the car while my son was shopping. All the people going in and out had something that seemed to stand out, something that sensed in me a sadness in them. I saw no person laughing or smiling. And this is the season to be jolly. On the ground, there were a few tossed out, filthy, and trampled over disposable facemask, which suddenly shoved my mind into the darkest part of the pandemic experience. I then felt so sorry for all of us. I, too, felt sick of myself. I couldn't wait for my son to get out of that store and back home where I felt safe.
I can only encourage you to find a balance for your workload by delegating authority to others for help needs. Possibly, you may have a close family member or friend with extra time on hand. And if you've earned enough for a leave time at your part-time job, then take time off. Otherwise, think of ways to approach your boss for ideas to shift your workload to something less challenging. Give him a clue to what's going on that may possible interfere with your work assignments. Surely he will pick up on that change in you as important.
I pray for you today. God is with you always and He is willing to help. Pray hard for relief. Hugs.
