Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I too feel like you, I just want it to be over and hope sometimes by fate God will give me that peace. I have to say though that I try to get up the next day and see how and if it will be better than the last.
Hang in there and message me anytime. Hugs and prayers to you from me. Hope your days get a little better.
Stay strong bro! You know I'm with you my friend!!
I have had a couple of lousy psychiatrists, one that was great and now a new one that I think is going to be good and will work at getting meds right. I also finally had my first therapy session in years this week. Last psychologist kind of damaged me a bit, so it took a lot to go back.
For me, I think the therapy is a must. I just have such a hopeless outlook that anything will change and am paralyzed by this crap. I can't do anything. I plan to try hard to follow the therapists suggestions since I obviously have not handled anything well on my own. I have nothing to lose by trying it and just can't continue on the path I have been on.
I agree talking is important. I rant, rave and whine in my journal. I have a lot of anger issues apparently along with self hate. The journal lets me feel free to scream about it all.
I understand what you feel and keep hoping for the end. I just try to keep in mind others have been here and climbed out of the Hell. Maybe, maybe we can too.
Much love for you. Hold on and keep fighting for the right doctors. There is someone that will help. I hate that you have seen so many without anyone helping.
