I have been struggling with depression for about 20 years, since I was about 15 or so. My work history has absolutely no coherency to it whatsoever and has more holes than a block of Swiss cheese. Potential employers don't seem to like gaping holes in one's work history. There are times when I do fine and there are others where I will let the depression get the best of me and disappear from the radar. My work life has been a combination of bad decisions on my part and some bad luck.
I am now 35 years old and feel like such a loser. I did manage to get a 4 year degree. I am thinking about grad school but just can't seem to focus on anything. My mind is my worst enemy. My self esteem is non existent. I am also single, male, and live with a relative. My situation is not very conducive to dating or marriage. In fact, given my history of problems I am definitely doing to get myself sterilized because someone like me has no business bringing children in the world. From what I can tell, women seem to want a guy with a good job and a future.
All that being said, can anyone relate? If so, how did you overcome employment related barriers? Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
