Ouch that hurts. So sorry for you and your wife. I can only say that she broke the vow, you didn't. In other words, don't feel badly about yourself or the situation. It is sad but you have to chose how to respond to it.....negative versus positive. Your boys need a good example since their mother isn't providing it. Be strong friend. Cry if you must but keep going.

Wow. Im so sorry this happened to you. It sounds like your doing the right thing tho by getting your apartment. I can only imagine how difficult it is to be under the same roof and see her everyday. I'm sure things will improve once you're on your own. I know there is a "break-ups and relationships" type group on DS. Maybe you'd get good support there as well. (Not sure if thats the name of it but its something like that).

What? She breaks the vow and wants to move on and she gets the house? Why doesn't she find the apartment and move? I'd find a lawyer that would support you and your rights. Women want to be equals, well so be it. Sorry if this upsets you. It's just that you didn't do anything wrong yet you're paying the biggest price.

Don't put your energy into trying to fix what can't be fixed. It takes two willing people to mend a marriage, nothing less can work! I spent years trying to be the fixer, to no avail. If I had it to do over I would put all my energy into getting through the divorce in the best possible way, into finding who was on my side and in my circle, and then into focusing on building a happy future.

And on finding an apartment, be very careful. I was the one who moved out and it ended up being to my detriment, the Judge gave him just about everything we had built together. Lawyer up!

We put everything on paper. As per the agreement she is going to stay here. As soon as the divorce is final we sell or she will buy and split the profit 50/50. Waiting for the draft from the lawyer.
