I almost worrry I'm gonna wind up like that cliff robertson character, charley...
I'm hoping i'm thinking pretty straight right now, with the reason maybe being that a lot of depressing people are out of my life, so i don't have to subconsciously shut down my brain, and then wind up making mistakes.
the inbred bums who lived next door are gone, scattered though out my hick town, thanks to the owner losing the building to the bank; one big flop house where almost everybody was related, had some petty criminal record, and where somebody was always seated outside during every 24 hour day.
feels good to leave my apartment, especially in the dark, without angry, drunken/drugged eyes on me, and whatever redneck whispers.
# other depressing people gone----with me able to handle some recent depressing events ok, because of that (?)...though i keep obsessing about the dumb mistakes i made, when all these depressing people, related or friends to one another, were about.

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. Since that time, we have had lots of ups and downs but I have never intentionally hurt Mr K in anyway. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

I think it's always better, pretty much no matter what else is going on, to have a peaceful and SAFE envorinment for ourselves. I've experienced noisy, uncouthj, obnoxious neighbours, for more years than I care to recall. It can be a downer, for sure, esp. if you're trying to feel better about your life and circumstances.
I'm glad you're finally free of them.
I know I work on extinguishing the depressed patterns of thinking, always.
Plus, we've all made some pretty horrendous and embarrassing mistakes, but life teaches us an awful lot by those.
You're certainly not alone.
though, unfortunately, my unintentional motto was always: live and NOT learn.:)
