I started becoming very vocal about my struggle with depression, anxiety, and history of suicidal thoughts about 6 months ago after losing a second brother to suicide. Today I had a corporate client/ "big wig" come up to me after reading my blog and said "Aren't you afraid to tell people you are crazy?"
You may be wondering what did you say?! First, I laughed and then I said I am proud of my challenges and what I have gone through. Most people take happiness and peace for granted but those who have to crawl through darkness on their hands and needs have an appreciation and strength most will never understand.
My rant for today is to be proud of who you are, what you struggle with, and what you have been through. You are amazing and stronger than you know.
Much love,

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

I would like to share some of my quotes with you if you don't mind:
1. Before you say something, think how you'd feel if someone said it to you.
2. We fight a fierce war within; What is the point of fighting with each other?
3. It's always the ones with the dirtiest hands pointing the fingers.
