Hey everyone this is my first post here but I've been so sad and I can't stop crying and I've had thoughts before and even cut my self but I don't want to be like this so I went to the crisis help line and then put me here I need your help.

Thank you guys all but that's why I'm so confused idk really why I'm so upset like I'm struggling with my friends rn and always being picked on during school.

Can we please ask you how old you are and if you are male or female? This will help us (especially older people like me) to know what part of our past to reach into for suggestions.

Welcome to this forum. I’m so sorry you’re feeling that way. Words seem inadequate to convey my care and concern for you. Life can be stressful, and self-harming will always result in even greater hurt. I know it’s not easy, but I believe it’s necessary for you to get help without any delay. Have you considered talking with a counselor? A professional counselor would be in an excellent position to offer support and help you to cope with your difficulties. I just said a prayer for you, and I hope that God will surround you with His comfort and peace. Sending hugs & prayers your way!

Thank you so much for the prayer but I'm only 14 and I don't want to put this on my parents so I can't go to a professional counselor

Thats the hardest part is feeling like you are alone with the sadness. Ive been through 9 clinical depressions in my life and the only way for me to survive it ( for the sake of my children) is to know when crying will help or if it will take me into a downward vortex, I have to grab every smile I can and exaggerate it, make it last by telling others about what made me smile. Like you I absolutely hate the Faking it part and I try my best to make it real. Good luck to you. May I suggest that you keep every letter, card, and email that makes you smile. Pull them out and read them when you are sad. Above all have faith that you are not alone.
