My grandfather died last night. I am lost.
People have to die, and we grieve, and that is very very right. You will be very sad. My grandma died and I miss her every day, but I imagine her looking over my shoulder. I talk to her, like she is still there. When I struggle with things I think - yeah, I can do this - my gran would do it. She does, in her absence, give me so much strength.
have you photos. Can you put these photos in a little album, so you can look at them, grief, give thanks, and just remember him? I have a little book of a holiday that my gran went on with me and my family to the Dordogne in France. It was a happy holiday and more so cos she was there. It gives me lovely sad-happy memories now. xk
