Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Well unless the groom makes you his choice the nothing to worry about on that list, check and next!! I oversimplify but you get the idea.

and once again you've made the situation about you. This is your sisters marriage, her happy day. If you can't ignore your issues for a day and let her be happy, then just don't go.

Tough situation for sure. It is hard to cheer on your sister getting married when your marriage is in trouble. However, since you will be around your sister and new husband in the future, you should do the right thing and be there for her at the wedding. It may feel really awkward - but don't let your present marriage situation adversely affect your relationship with your sister. Find a pastor or counselor who can help you with your situation. Even if you can't go with your wife to counseling - you can still go. They can give you tips on how to reconcile with your wife and help you get a better outlook on marriage in general. Pray in the meantime. Prayer really helps!
