Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Sometimes people suggest a group like this should be here just for support, but I think there are lessons from our people handle life's challenges. I think there are few more difficult situations than what Megan Markle faced. A family member publicly condemned her, a father embarassed her, and this was all playing out before a billion people. But she persisted. I will do what I can do, and prepare my wedding, I cannot control what other people will do or say, just how I respond to that. And her dad could not come, but oh what a beautiful wedding it was.
Like can present challenges and we can just do our best and sometimes that is more than enough. I think the challenges the princess faced were great but so was her response.

That wedding made Monarchy history on so many levels, it was incredible to watch. 2 things stood out, Victoria Beckham never so much as grinned, much less smiled, and the Queen never smiled, although her husband the Duke had a big smile on his face.
It was a beautiful ceremony and Prince Harry and Megan both looked very happy through the whole thing. We can all take notes out of their book on how to be happy through worlds of controversy.
