Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

for myself, it's cyclical. going deeper emotionally to work through family issues (generations of neglect) and then periods of distraction (in a positive way). fun and non-destructive distractions because doing emotional healing can get overwhelming.
best wishes to you. there are so many resources..... you just have to find the ones that match your situation or create your own resources.
I do a type of marker journaling. 3 pages of journaling with a dozen sharpie markers in different colors. it's words and doodles/ drawings. whatever is on my mind. I use a large 9"x11" sketchbook for this. I use this method 2x a week (6 pages total)..... but then go some months without using it at all because it can be intense emotionally.
