I hear you! It's so humid here at the moment I can't get any washing dry, all my bedding feels clammy, I sweat just opening the fridge door to get a cold drink and my head feels like a thunder-storm's stuck in it. My husband thinks I'm insane to prefer the winter as I have Raynaud's, but I'd much rather feel cool and be able to think straight!

I hear y'all! I am down south and I always gripe that I hate cold weather, but now I am rethinking that. We have had about 10 or more days over 100 degrees ( not counting the humidity and the heat index ) and yesterday our upstairs ac unit went out. It was 92 degrees upstairs in my house. Thank gosh we have two separate units and that the ac guy made it to our house around dinner time and it wasn't anything major ( a bad coil??) .. this is gonna be a long long hot summer I'm afraid....... UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH.

This summer has been exceptional with the heat. Somedays. I think I will just melt away with sweat. It is so hot and EVERY day, just to cool things off, I guess mother nature sends a thunderstorm. Thank God, it does cool it off for awhile. Scares my grand babies though.

I am right with you. Looove the cold weather. This heat WILL be the end of me if I endure it too long.

Hello to you all to ..It has been 100 + it is 112 now here with heat index of 122 and no power for 7 days so far.. It mite in the week befor it comes back on .. i do not like it ..But my sons boss broght over a big gen""" to run my house... so far i have spent in gas 700 dollars in gas that herts the pocket book .. OK you all take care

We were without power last week for about 6 days and yes the gas for the generator added up pretty quickly.The generator only ran a couple fans and kept the fridge going so we still just sat and completely melted.I am so looking forward to cool crisp sharp winter mornings where the ground crunches under your feet.It is so limiting when it's this hot you don't want to do anything,drive anywhere,eat too much so you just hang out in the house in the AC.Well hopefully it will go down slightly this coming week!

Personally, I don't mind summer. I love swimming and spending time in the water. During winter, I always have problems with chapped lips, dry skin, colds, runny noses, and other illnesses. Autumn is the best season. Comfortable weather, allergens are dying, leaves changing, and football.

It sounds like you might have the summer version of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). I've got the winter version so I can honestly say that no matter how bad it gets I still prefer the summer!

Down south in Texas it is just plain hot for months on end. So, I dream of snowy days and being cozied up to a fire in a cabin in the mountains. I reflect on the years I lived in the mountains and remember the joy it brought me! I say "down to the Heat" or rather up?! Here's to cooler climates!

I hate the heat. It's supposed to be 112 here all week and I have to walk to work and back in it. I get there dripping sweat, it's horrible.
3 months from now the weather will be nice, but until then it's hell.

I always said I love the heat, it can never be too hot for me. Lordy bagordy! Was I feakin' wrong! I feel like I'm in the gingerbread house getting shoved in the oven or something

I am irritated as all hell these days and it's due to stress but also the heat. It is bringing the pot to a boil.
