Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I have no idea how to treat that.
Let's see... CBT has success. Maybe if you do the opposite of what your symptoms tell you to do?
And that would be... what?
Cutting your face and acknowledging your pain? Try to do something else.
It might be your BD, but I haven't known someone with BPD who didn't also have BD.
I am not judging you when I say this, (as I have experienced similar issues in my life), but cutting your face and body doesn't solve anything. It may provide some temporary relief, but your pain, insecurities, depression, etc. are still there; these are the problems you need to address. I hope you have a therapist and/or trustworthy friend you can talk to about this Also, yoga, exercise, meditation, a favorite hobby, or spending time with your family, friends and pets are much healthier ways to cope with your mental health conditions.
There will be a day where you find joy and confidence, and you may regret the cutting. It gets better. Hugs
I wish you all the luck and don't ever harm yourself or your pretty face no one and nothing is worth it! sometimes you have to be selfish when it comes to your mental health! so be selfish towards your body and face and emotions and don't let people be a priority over your your mental health....EVER people and things can be replaced easily but your health and emotions are far from being able to be replaced so hold on to them because it's easy to slip in depression but it's hard to get out of it.
After my last attempt at suicide I had someone, a stranger I passed by a couple of times a week, notice I had been away and told me she had missed my smile. You could have knocked me over with a feather! I had no idea any one ever noticed me.
I realized that I had no idea of the ripples I made in the lives of strangers let alone people closer to me.
Get help. You are so worth it!
