Why dose it feel good when I cut myself? As I sit here watching to the blood makes it way to the surface and hoping the waterfall will come soon and if I cut myself deep enough. How can I tell my Mom her only child I want to die?
Lauriegirl
You tell her straight forward and you show her what you've done please. I'm begging you. I promise you there is reason to live even if it feels so unlike it some times. I want to see many more posts from you, someday happy posts. I believe in you.

sounds like you need some help. can you talk to a doctor, school counsellor, clergy person? it is hard to find help but it would be good if you could find less destructive ways to deal with your stress and despair. I used to cut. I think it feels good for a couple of reasons. one, it releases endorphins or something like that into the blood stream, the body's reaction to pain to try to ease that pain and 2. if we have a lot of deep seated hatred for ourselves, I think cutting is a way to express that feeling. it feel true and real. BUT. it's not good. please seek help outside your family. can you call the suicide hotline and talk to them and ask them to help you find someone in your area?

Hello, Thank you for reaching out for support. It’s understandable it’s tough now, but remember you are tough too. What makes you cut and want to commit suicide?. We all go through many things and it is difficult, but things will get better. This is your first step as you reached out for help. I admire your strength and effort. I know your life is worth the fight and your life is very valuable. I need you to agree to have someone or you discard or take away the objects and things that would hurt or harm you. I want you to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). It’s a 24- hour confidential hotline. They can talk to you when you feel this way and help with preventive measures. Also, you can call; The Samaritans it’s a 24-hour confidential hotline at (212) 673-3000. The Samaritans can help you through anything. Hugs and we are here for you.

I guess it depends on how your mother is and your situation. Is she generally supportive or abusive?

I want to go be with my Dad who lost last year. I'm always bothering people. I'm just a mistake in the world and a mistake for my Mom. She would be better off without me. I'm just tired of living I'm tired of being in this dark place I'm in. I wrote a note to my Mom apologizing to her. I can't take it I'm just broken

Hey Emily you're having it really hard :( I wish I could give you a hug right now. I'm sorry for what you are and have been going through. I've felt like a mistake to the world and still sometimes feel it would be so much better for people around me if I didn't exist. It's not true. I believe your mom would be deeply hurt and broken if anything happened to you. Please talk to her. Pour yourself out. Do not worry about burdening her because you won't be. If she is supportive, it is very likely that she would do whatever she can to help you. Keep up updated. Gentle hugs.
