As some of you already know, my brother was laid off Tuesday morning.. so it's been a stressful week. However, we spared no time in hunting down work for him and things are starting to look up. He has an interview at 2:00 this afternoon at a company that has a project coming up in about a year that he is very interested in running. If he gets the job he will have to do boring grunt work for a while before the big project is up and running, but it would be well worth it for the boost in his career.
Other than the interview this afternoon, he also managed to get in to talk with the owner of another company yesterday that has a really great reputation around town for being a good place to work, and he said it went well there as well.
So.. we're crossing our fingers that one of these works out for him!

Yes, we are a very supportive family - something that I have tried to always appreciate and not take for granted. My parents, brothers and myself all love one another very much, and always support one another through thick and thin. I credit my family's supportiveness for my getting to where I am today and where I will be in the future. No matter what trials are thrown my way in life I know I can get past them because of my family. I always try to reciprocate this support as well, which is why when my bro got laid off I felt it was so important to help him find a new job - he has helped me in very similar situations before.
