Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

your parents are victims of their own idiocy. I have an ex husband like this. He can't leave things alone. He has to fiddle with them till they're ruined. I fight with him to help our daughter out financially so she doesn't have to work... before she's even enrolled for this year he's telling her she has to get a job. Gets his parenting advice down the pub from drunks with no children. Insufferable.
But the real bottom line here is that you're an adult now. And if you don't want your parents telling you what to do, you have to pay your way.
So make the leap. Time to say bye bye to their flawed view. They want you safe, but safety comes at a price. And if you aren't even cut out for accounting etc, why they want you to do it is beyond me.
Especially when your job will be being done by a robot in five years time. There's no future in accounting. That's insane. Financial advisory perhaps. But not accounting and business. Crap pay anyway.
You could end up just as poor as an accountant as an artist. What sort of art are you interested in?
