Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
codependency isn't that where you feel the need to always be in a relationship, you fear being alone or something like that.
I'm sure if you addressed your depression your codependency might get a little easier because you'd feel a bit better in yourself and not feel the need to have someone 24/7, well i'm guessing anyway.

I've lived a interesting life, but I didn't enjoy it. Now I want to live life and really enjoy it.
To answer your question - I did. Once I got it in my head the other person was just that - a SEPARATE human, it was easier addressing the depression.
