I thought it would be nice to start a thread that celebrates our victories no matter how big or small.
I haven't done much constructive in the past two weeks as my depression and anxiety have mostly been off the charts bad, but today I went for a little walk. Then I went for a second 30 minute brisk walk after reading a post on the anxiety board. It relieved the anxiety I was feeling and I felt great doing it!

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. Since that time, we have had lots of ups and downs but I have never intentionally hurt Mr K in anyway. Let's see, I guess my biggest victory -- the biggest thing I've done in 2012 -- is I painted our kitchen cabinets (just finished this week). It was really hard, very tiring, but I finally finished it. They don't look great, but they don't look as bad as I thought they would. So that's a victory for me. :)
Etherize. I think that's a great victory and alot to be proud of . Good for you :0)
I guess the biggest victory for me that I can think of didn't happen this year, but after being diagnosed with Panic Disorder 5 years ago, I stopped driving for about a year and a half ( too afraid of having a panic attack while driving because when I did have them I almost had several wrecks ). I finally did overcome that fear but it was slow going. I still don't like to drive on the interstate or long distances but I do drive, so I'll count that as a victory!
My victory is getting insurance for my sweet birds. If one of them gets sick I pay the vet bill then am reimbursed by the insurance. Makes me feel better. Koda is a chronic egg layer and her little sweet naked bottom can 't handle big eggs. So the mobile vet must come help her.
Whole story about this years stuck egg. Amazing!
I walked for nearly an hour today and I responded to my emails and cleaned out my inbox.
I am sloooooooooooooowly going to inch my way back into the land of productivity.
