Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I think for me these are the things I would start with, but maybe you have already started with them? I don't have enough info so I'm probably preaching to the choir.
1. steroid injections in the knee (was it an injury or weight related?)
2. swimming and weight loss if you are overweight. Myfitnesspal for diet is great too.
3. Study or training. I take it you're on sickness benefit, do they give cheap or free training, or perhaps student loans? You need a desk job.
You need to be ready for Nicole when Nicole is ready for you. Right now she's not. That's great. That buys you a little time. But you need to use this time wisely to get to where you need to be.
You probably need to move to live closer to her, and then go visit her when you can. Send her money when you can. What jobs are you qualified for? What are you able to do? And what have you tried?
I'm sure we can figure out something for you. PM me if you'd like. I think we're always going in a direction in life, and sitting still actually is floating downstream. So we always have to be swimming... but where to? Sort of depends on where you are. :)
