Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

It's okay to feel sadness and/or emotional pain. And, there is nothing unusual about the idea that you might be better off dead. Those thoughts are more common than you think. Nobody will admit it or acknowledge it. But the first step toward my improvement was to recognize that what I was going through was natural for me and I kept moving forward until I found what worked for me (not others, me). My advice for you is to block out any negative thoughts and/or sentiments from outside people and follow what your instinct is leading you to. Listen to your internal thoughts and direction. You know how you feel, no one else does. The answer is out there but you have to continue to look for it. The path is going to be tough, there will be obstacles along the way and you will have to fight but you have to look at it from the viewpoint of fighting for your own health, life, and wellbeing. Do it for yourself.
You are not alone. You can do it.
You are a wonderful person. This is only a season in time. I believe good things are going to happen for you soon.
Good luck! I wish you all the best.
