So.. I had a midterm this morning.
And apparently I am re-frikkin-tarded.
I ALWAYS read the instructions thoroughly before starting an exam.
This morning, however, I did not. See, I had looked at the instructions online before I left so I just skimmed them before writing the test.
Anyways.. we had an hour and a half to write. We were to answer 2 out of 6 optional questions. I had the bright idea in my head that we were to answer 1..
So.. I took over an hour to write out the most detailed, greatest answer humanly possible.. it was.. impeccable. Then I got up, handed in my test, and left the room... only to realize that whenever you're the first to leave that is either a *really* good thing or, not often than not, a *really* bad thing. Suddenly it hit me... OH SHIT! I THINK WE WERE SUPPOSED TO ANSWER TWO!!! So I raced back to the classroom, asked the prof, and he said, yes we were supposed to answer two. LUCKILY he is an extremely nice man and allowed me to take back my test, sit back down, and finish. Problem being, there was only TEN MINUTES left to write!! I had wasted the whole time writing out the most perfect answer possible for the first question and now I was stuck rushing an answer to a question of equal weight to the first.
I think, in the end, I did alright. I managed to pull a fairly sufficient answer out of my bottom within the ten minutes I had. But it is certainly not the kind of answer I am capable of giving. I guess I will find out in the coming weeks how well I really pulled it off.
So that was the start of my day..............
I have what is likely to be the most difficult midterm of my LIFE first thing tomorrow morning. I've been studying all night but I am dead tired (as a result of alarms going off in the empty house across the street 2 nights in a row and then cramming last night for today's middy) and I think I am starting to get sick.
I'm hoping my feeling-like-crap-ness is merely a result of lack of sleep, poor eating habits the last few days, and stress and that I will wake up in the morning feeling just fine and dandy... but right now I feel like a bag of arseeeee

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Good luck with the rest of your education.
Yeah school is a real challenge! It's so hard to motivate myself sometimes, especiallly when I am going through a rough patch. Thankfully I've been doing quite well in the last number of months, so that's great.. have down days but it's been a while since I've been really depressed.
It's hard this year too though because I have to work part time which I didn't do other years - hopefully this summer the economy's a little better and I can find a good paying full time job so I don't have to resort to working during the school year again.
Thanks for your encouragement!!!
I DO have the determination to succeed :D
I think me feeling like crap all day yesterday had a lot to do with me being really low on sleep and having drank too much coffee and tea and not enough water.
Leaving now to write my International Law midterm!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!! Wish me luck!!!! I studied like a mother effer for this one... but law is comlicated enough.. international law.. quite possibly THE most complicated thing in the world.... every rule has ten exceptions and ever exception has expections.... I most certainly have no desire to ever become an int'l lawyer after taking this course LoL (though it really IS fascinating..)
I didn't fail, I'm certain of that... but I sure as hell didn't do well. I'll be surprised to find out I got a 70......
