So I'm lying here with two fur babies sharing the bed. My psychiatrist actually lets her baby roam her office building. My guys boost my mood and give me so much unconditional love. Getting through these tough times would've have been so much more difficult without my two Shelties. Do you have furry partners too ???

But..... I live with and take care of my dad now. He's quite old and his animal if choice is..... CATS! I have a cool cat. She even camps with me. And hikes about two miles, (without a leash).
But.... My dads sort of the neighborhood Cat lady. We have mine and his in the house. That's two... Then 6 more semi feral outside. They're a pain in the butt and cost me a ton of cash. Most are fixed. In winter, they have heating pads and blankets and pillows. Its SICK! lol..... But what can ya do.... It gives my old dad comfort and makes him relaxed. That and a 40 gallon tank with goldfish.
If I had my choice.... I'ld have a Dog.
