Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
When you run out of antidepressants, you crash. You think it's your life, you think it's that guy at work - but your brain's just pooed its nappy.
The most important thing I ever worked out in my life was to keep myself chemically stable, and THEN see how I felt about life. So you either have to consistently, reliably take the antidepressants, or you have to go through the 6 months - 1 yr weaning yourself off, and do nothing in the mean-time, because you are not able to make a good decision when you're in the grip of your chemistry going up and down, in a state of change. Stability is key.
Don't get sucked in by what you think you think when you're out of meds. Make sure you're never out of meds, or else make sure you never do anything based on how you're feeling. I find the latter hard to do... :D
