Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I find it very liberating.
I have come to the conclusion that I may very well be single for the rest of my life. After the relationships I have been in, I have learned what I can and cannot live with and I won't just settle, so unless some gal really tickles my fancy and has the qualities I am looking for (and I have the ones she is looking for) then I will just stay to myself.

I understand what you are saying, I have a friend who has never been married. She says the same thing. But I REALLY envy her.
I have so very many memories that I don't want, tears I wish had not happened, "happy times" that were really just lies. If I could I would love to whipe them from my memory. It is horrible to lay at night and remember being called a worthless piece of shit, by the person who promised to love you forever, or worse being hit by him while drunk. My sister has been married to the same man for 40 years. To everyone else they look so content with each other, the will sit and smile at each other when the family gets together. She told me when they smile at each other, it is their code for F you. It is few and far between who are happy I have found, most of them are just tired.
