though for me it's always one step forward and two steps back....i just learned how to chat on this site, though at same time i got rabid-psycho in a couple threads.
i have maybe rare triggers, the way some incest or beating victim have more obvious triggers....none of the conversations here ever came up in my "real" life so i never had to deal with them locally, in person.
then, there are maybe 3 people in 1 week i find out might, might, have phoney accounts, secondary accounts....everybody hates that stuff.
just my long-winded way of saying to those who have been nice to me, that if i do actually disappear for a couple days, it's because i do realize i need to slow down---CALM DOWN.
It can be depressing, for me at least, to get too...out of control...with some of the threads here, from spending too much time here.
(*and apologies to anybody who tried chatting long ago, with dumb me not knowing how to do that)

As far as WV saying DS can be addictive. Yes it can. Ask my husband. He will tell you I'm addicted. I am in denial and plan on staying there. :0P~
