i have very little in front of me, and the little is just more depression. the best parts were youth a long time ago.

I don't think you realize how much choice you have.

I've been there. I've thought about every imaginable way to do it also. Those that do follow through with it tho, are the ones that lack clarity. Now, if I have a day I am feeling good I am able to see how destructive and selfish killing myself really would be. It absolutely does matter how it effects those you love. You will be creating a horrible tragedy for them to take on for the rest of their lives. It effects EVERYONE you know. Are you taking any new medications? Or are you seeing a therapist?

I used to feel this way too. The only thing that kept me from taking myself up on this final solution was having survived a very dear friend who committed suicide.

I had lived first hand the pain, guilt, grief, unrelenting sorrow, self doubts and questions that his suicide had left in his family, me, my family, & everyone who knew him. He was deeply loved, but he could only see his 'failures.'

Remembering him, gave me the strength to keep struggling through those dark, hellish days (years), and come out stronger and, while not well, better. I have a son I named after my dear friend so I will never, ever forget.

Please hold on. There really *is* a light at the end of the tunnel, even when it can't be seen.

I know that feeling of wanting to take some control back. It takes courage to fight to get better. And you will get better. I have up and down days too but I want you to know that the world needs sensitive people like you. Shame that because we are so caring and sensitive that we have to suffer more than others but imagine a world without us on it? And you do have so much time left to change and get better. Hugs : )

I hear ya. I am having terrible suicidal thoughts for quite some times but my little dog is what is my saving grace. Although on the weekends i take so many meds to just make me sleep for like 48 hours straight. I have a dr but he doesn't seem to really care. Im very new to this site but am in need of a friend or someone i can talk to because ive pushed all of my friends and family away because i want them to believe that im a normal person and such. I just don't know what to do. I dont know how the messaging works on this site yet but feel free to message me. Take care!

You say that you live with your mom. Do you have any idea how devastated she would be if her son killed himself????
How could she live with the guilt????
