Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
It sounds like you're going camping with crazy people. Never-mind them
ruining something meant to be enjoyable, I wouldn't want to be alone, out in the woods, with people flipping out over tent folding and chores. You're not even getting paid to deal with them.
I hope good things come your way very soon and that you don't let that bad experience turn you against camping. The bugs diving into your food as once it's finally ready, the long walk to the bathroom, the rustling in the bushes and the fear of what will emerge - those are the things that should turn someone against camping:)
The best thing that happened to me was when I blew up when someone was treating me like that. I didn't curse that out or anything just told them about themselves and their hypocrisy. Totally shut them up for that argument. I'm not a person who likes to confront people. I tend to shut down a lot. But have been working on it through my husband. I just need to work on it with coworkers and other family.
