Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
maybe she went on vacation?...but yea i am so close with them...there not my counselors anymore cuz they found other jobs best suited for them..and i went to hs so my ms counselor is at the ms...yea...but i have you guys here so i dont think about it as much except on my bad days.
One of the hardest things to do sometimes is open up and be honest.
This is what creates the emotions your going through.
Its hard to trust anyone I know, but needs must. To find a cure or even understand why, you have to be strong, you have to be truthful, its the only way people can help, they need to understand why and so do you.
Please dont ever feel your too much trouble, your far from it..
Remember where we are, support is everything.
Just look at the replies. You are a big part of this community, part of the family..
Thinking of you.
Andy
thank you soooo much! i really appreciate it!! im gonna try soo hard to be honest and tell the whole story and stop sugar coating...xoxox
It's ok if things get confusing at times..just take advice from your counsellors..if you believe in them and talk to your parents and go from there...
Things will get better..
Good luck friend.
Psychiatrists also do not think their patients are crazy.
I'm really happy that your father is helping your get therapy. Your mood diary is a great step.
We worry about you when we don't hear from you. We are not tired of you or mad at you.
glad you havent hurt yourself for a few weeks - it can be so hard to stop doing that , so well done there xx it takes effort.
you are feeling rage - best to get it out on paper, drawing, painting, writing....just get it OUT THERE, ya know? journal it on here too, then you can get replies which is nice and helpful usually.
but the main thing is not letting it all build up inside of you, becuase that is not good.
can you find other counsellors...? x
You are absolutely NOT weak or you wouldn't be asking for help (to paraphrase some of the other responses)...and yeah, if there is ANYONE you should be able to pour your heart out to and tell them what is really wrong, it's your psychiatrist/therapist/support group! I have cried out to all of mine recently and they have listened...and I'm working on getting what I need. It takes time and of course you have to follow through on your part but I have no doubt you will be able to do just that.
Good luck and pop in here now and again to keep us posted, if you can't come regularly, OK? (((BIG HUGS)))
