Yep I have been on it for over two years al;ong with two other antidepressants. To date I haven't had any bad side effects and have actually been functioning pretty well. I am currently working on my second year of not using a sick day at work. I don't believe I could have ever gotten close to this accomplishment without the benefit of my medications. Abilify has played it's role in my current state of well beinng. I hope you have good results as well. : )

What dose ru takin? Dr started me on 2..5mg

I am on 5 mg but I am rather on the heavy side. I find most of what I get prescribed ends up being in higher dosages. : p

Thanks for the replies. I think it is helping. Ive been on it bout 3 weeks now.

I noticed that it kept my moods in check, so I wouldn't reallly hit any extremes (which is good for the most part).

i took it a few yrs ago...i had a sensation that my right lower lip was being pulled down...very strange! plus, it made me drool.....so i didn't take it very long.

Im taking it now, 5mg a day. I feel the depression could manifest but this keeps it at bay. My lows aren't so low any longer. I don't have to go home to sleep and I feel like I have some energy most days.

I took 10mg a day and found I had terrible restlessness and anxiety. I dropped to 5mg and things have stabilised.
