The doctor's a good idea (and, like you already know) booze is a bad idea. Talking to people who can sympathise is also a good idea but talking to a counsellor who can help is a better one.
Tough being out of work, I know. I've been there. It will drag you down but at least you've got footie to cheer you up now and again (unless you're a Chelsea supporter - in which case, my sympathy.)
So stick around, visit us often and talk to the folks you like. I promise you, it'll help.
