I think most of us do feel out of wack on vacation because we're creatures of habit,which is our everyday life.
So when we're taken out of our habatat we react with a feeling of it being un-real.
I think we do it to protect ourselves.

Really you are not crazy.
Vacation's are not real day to day life we are not used to change of pace we encounter on vacations.
Most of the confusion and not really knowing what is going on that is you trying to make sense of a crazy world.
To-days expectations schools, colleges, fashion,fitting in, finding a comfortable place It is hard enough growing up with
out having worry about this and that scared of this and that they are what sets in self dought and thinking it is only happening to me.
Most people are to ashamed or feel quilty so they hide every thing in the Closet.
I read your profile and journal's you are very well adjusted and do have a handle on most things.
It is a crazy world changing at a rapid pace 10 years ago it would take a letter 10 days to get from state to state now everything is so instant you will have my reply in a nano second from when I press add.
To much information and self awareness we have access to the same materials as the people treating us.
Think of it this way how many adds to see on TV for medicine and the symptons fit you to a T
20 years ago if some one died and you asked what did they die of the cause of death would simply be death.
To-day everthing has to have a name Heart Attack blah blah
