I was unable to access facebook all day. When I called facebook support the tech told me someone was using my computer or accessing it and that is why I can't get on. All the other sites I can get on. He brought up a box and it did show where a foreign address with some numbers supposedly was accessing my computer. He said they are able to get to everything I put on any site I ever get on including my credit cards and bank accts. Then he said the only way to get back on facebook was if I bought his security /antivirus system for $199. I am wondering what the use is-won't they still have all the information they need about me and be able to use my email address? It would be a big hassle to change my email address cause WAY too many places have it and I can't even remember who all I would need to give it to. Does anyone knowof any cheaper ways to protect my computer or any free ways? Or did anyone ever have this issue?

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

Once someone hacked into my facebook account and facebook emailed me immediately and froze my account so they could not do anything on it. All I had to do was change my password. It was absolutely nothing like you described.

also, .. if possible, try logging into it from a different computer.
Now, this is completely different. You have communicated with this person. I don't know if you gave any personal info to them or not, but regardless I agree with Wandering Vet. You need to change your passwords to everything now and do a complete virus scan. Not the quick one either. Do a thorough one which should scan overnight for you. I wouldn't use your computer at all until the scan is completed. If it were me, I'd access another computer to change all of my passwords. The quicker you can act on this the better.
