He is quite the charmer. (I love his eyes.) This takes me back to memories of my past pets. They were also some of the best parts of my life.
"Stinkpot" does also take me back to all the silliness and that unconditional love they do bring into our lives.

When my husband and I first got together, he had 2 cats. One of them he had never named but had her for years. I asked "What do you call her?" His response was "I don't have to call her anything. She's ALWAYS around....such a pain in the ass." Thus her name PITA.

So tell me....how does HE like your laptop? (Pita used to be there walking across the keyboard or trying to lay on it to get my attention. LOL )

Thank you veggie! He's laying next to me now. He's been quite a love today! Yesterday he escaped again, this time via the utility room entrance to the crawlspace which had a gate in front of it but it was secured. He came back on his own, via the crawlspace. I love your story of how Pita got named! I don't have a laptop but rather a desktop. I've had quite a few cats in my adult life. The first one was a Christmas gift from my then boyfriend. My gift was a beautiful Siamese kitten who we named Kato after Kato Kaelin from the OJ Simpson trial. I've had a lot of special kitties since then.

I am a dog guy and I call them AKA Knuckleheads....Belle and Happy are a true joy for me....

Bill... to be honest I was a dog lover before the kitters. But I am an equal opportunity animal lover (dogs and cats that is.... I am not so much interested in iguanas, ferrets, snakes or any funky pets)

The pets I had together with hubby were Chyna (pure black older cat with a small spot of white on her breast) Pita Marie who was white with a mask that covered one half her face and other ear and her tail of pure black. Jasmine Theodora Fuzzball ( a beautiful long haired tiger that we saved who was left by her HO of a mom under the neighbor's shed. All her sibling would roam the neighborhood and eventually became road pizza. but she was very afraid and stayed close to home). Eventually we fed her and brought her inside. She was also known as Jazzy T. lol

Dave always wanted a dog and even when we still had cats he would not listen and so we saved a pup from his cousin's latest litter. As with all puppies, I just had to hold him and see him and we brought him home. He wanted to na,me him and thought he was a bit clumsy and airheaded like Seinfield's Kozmo Kramer. He'd also chuckle as he did some very goofy things as a little guy and say hey, dumb ass..... So our precious pup became known as Kozmo Dummass...(pronounced DU mas) as they all needed a little character with their names. He was part australian heeler, terrier and not sure what else... a mutt but our very special one. He was my protector and best friend. Dave was so annoyed. LOL

I lost them all and then hubby. I miss them and have to say I found more love and acceptance from them than any human.
