I feel a really bad need to set up another aggravation dump post like I've seen Summerwind81 do before today, so I'm just going to give everyone a chance to jump in if they'd like.
I guess I'll go first:
Last night I was having really bad worries -- the kind that keeps me awake at night -- over how I'm going to handle this semester. My lappy is usually pretty reliable so I fired it up last night because I knew a friend of mine would be here to talk, only to find that my AC adapter had kicked it.
I shouldn't have been surprised because I use that adapter a lot, but it was a hell of a time to lose the thing. The lappy didn't have enough battery power for me to do much more than order a new adapter. I got permission to use the desktop if I need to this morning but obviously it's now too late. I get to go into my first class with my worries in overdrive and worse with no sleep because I didn't get to talk out how I felt when it mattered. With the way I was and am feeling, a private message would not have been enough.
Now I basically have to pray that my first class today tosses nothing exciting, because I: a) probably won't have the strength inside to bring myself to attack any assignment that comes out of it, and b) badly need a rerack.
Now it's your turn.

It was embarrassing.
I am an analog girl in a digital world. One source of my anxiety is seeing all of the high-tech gadgets all around, in common use, and knowing that I do not know how to use any of them. I do not even own a cell phone. I have never texted, never tweeted. I feel so old and obsolete sometimes.
