Let's share some of the good advice we've learned over the years, shall we ?


I'll start.

Never EVER take a laxative and a sleeping pill at the same time. Learned the hard way by my good buddy Ian. hahaha

Don't pick yur nose while driving on a bumpy road. Just saying...

If you are giving birth take whatever pain meds they offer you and beg for more... If they tell you you have to have pitocin get the epidural FIRST. Noone likes having a needle shoved in their spine while they are having pitocin contractions.

Don't buy the natural childbirth BS. They just say that stuff to cause women to unnessarily submit themselves to torture. as long as your kid is not a preemie they will not have any repercusssions from a few doses of narcotics and if you are in less pain you wont miss out on the bonding by refusing to see them for 4 hours after they are born, like I did mine. This is something I learned the hard way from my last experience with childbirth that I would like to put on the front page of the NY Times or something so I can save at least a few women from unnecessarily martyring themselves in the mistaken belief they will hurt their child..

ps wish me luck with giving birth to my next one in 2 months...

and.... If I don't know what to do, I don't do anything.. I'll wait for as long as it takes for me to be sure..with time, the answer always comes to me.. and it's usually the right one.
