I feel like I'm drowning.
Things have gotten so much worse, I try to get over the things they say and do, but I can't anymore.
I have started cutting and abusing substances. I feel alone, and all I want to do is sleep. My meds don't help and I never see my therapist because my parents don't care.
I just don't know what to do.

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

Has anyone else noticed that clearly speaking and doing things intentionally is liberating because it helps combat the feeling of depression and a sense of hopelessness? Let me share a little more: in my experience, when those who have tried to project a hidden agenda that is obviously not aligned with integrity and well-being, it's best to be firm and speak clearly from self-awareness and...

Sometimes with depression, I end up in despair, and eventually it turns to anger, After that you will see me fighting the big D with everything I've got.
You can do it girl. One baby step at a time.
They have accused me of doing things with teachers and my moms husband. They tell my siblings to leave me alone because I'm a monster and I'm corrupting them.
They threaten me a lot, like threaten to kick me out or to knock my teeth down my throat. I have been hit, punched, choked, drug by my hair, and scratched.
Any bruises I've had haven't been sufficient enough to report, but I've had a bloody nose and busted lip before.
The worst is that they make me feel like nothing. Telling me I'll become nothing. That I'll end up just like my birth parents.

So you have to figure out what you will do. Regardless of what you're 'worth'. What is 'worth' anyway? It's academic. Look at the cat. Does it know what it's worth? Does it have self esteem? No. Never heard of it. And doesn't give a shit about it either. It's not a thing. It's just made up.
So here you are with a life. And it's yours. And you can do your best with it, or your worst. Or you can fluff around and do your best... and then your worst.... and then your best... and then your worst...
What do you think is most likely to get you out of this hole? I recommend the following.
1. No sleeping with anyone till you have left home;
2. No talking to anyone that doesn't talk to you first at home, and only answer with polite yesses;
3. Go see the school guidance counsellor ASAP;
4. keep your head down at home. Never argue. Never disagree. Just don't even talk.
5. make sure all your chores are done. Programme your phone.
This is a competition. This is an adventure. You are in enemy territory. How to survive in enemy territory? It's NOT the same way as you survive with your friends.
If you're in a concentration camp you don't stick your neck out. Ok? You keep your head down and you don't piss off the guards. So you are going to do 2 things. Survive in the concentration camp, and get the hell out of the concentration camp as fast as you can. And that is what you do.
See that guidance counsellor. you don't need to wait for bruises. See him/her now.
