Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Hey friends, just thought I'd share a very relieving, happy moment on here to balance out some of my sad ones. Last night I had the most wonderful sleep. It's been the first time in a while I got a good night's rest. I dreamt I was curled up under the covers in my grandmother's bed like I had done most days of my childhood. I felt so warm and it felt so real as if she were lying next to me. I think she may have helped me rest easy last night after I cried over her. I poured my heart out in a journal entry then went to bed. It was a wonderful feeling. It did hurt a little to wake up and realize it wasn't what I thought it was, but it was something I really needed with my struggles lately. I hope there will be more good to come. It really helped me get through the day.
Anyways, I just figured I'd share my happy note to remind you all that good days can happen even when you're in a very dark place. I hope you all have an uplifting moment to reflect on from your days as well. :)

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ
