Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Explain it all to them .. that you don't want him around you and that he threatened to come to your job. Show them the messages.
You can BET he is. I assure you he is furious. KNOW that .. and watch your back. Keep your cell phone at hand. Check around when you leave work. You do not want to now be within his reach. If he comes near you, GET AWAY and call the police. Keep your doors locked. Check around when you leave your house.
I am not trying to frighten you .. I would rather you be TOO careful than not careful enough. Be VERY very careful.
Stay in groups as much as you can. Ask somebody to walk with you to your car after work, park close to stores, stuff like that.
I don't want to scare you either, I've just seen how psycho people can get once they're told by the police to stay away. He'll want you alone, so try to be alone as little as possible, and lock the house up tight once you're home.
Best of luck to you...scary situation...I hope it works out as well as it can.
MOST of these things settle fairly well, but if you ever needed to be careful, it is now .. and maybe for quite some time.
I am trying to 'error on the side of caution'. Be vigilant, lock your doors at home, and realize there is someone angry with you .. someone who has done the things he has done ..and thinks the way he thinks. As long as he could control and bully you, he is 'fine' ..but that is OVER ..and he is likely very angry about it.
Be more careful than you need to be ... and you will be OK. Caution is key now.
This behavior is not ok, even if you think you caused it or provoked him. It is not your responsibility to make sure this guy behaves himself. You have the right to go wherever you want without having to be involved with this guy at all, no matter what he's done for you, ever. Don't feel guilty. Not only is it not your fault, it'll get you into more trouble and make you look unreliable in court.
A stable person would see this as a definite reason to stay away from you. He should notice that you are afraid of him and not want to frighten you more. At this point, he's not even in trouble with the police. If he sees this as a reason to engage you more, something isn't clicking, and any other encounters are completely self serving. They have nothing to do with your wishes. If you could have handled this situation yourself, you would have. Respectful people know that. Stalkers and manipulaters do not.
You are not alone in this. I hope you continue to go towards the light. It appears that you are on your way. Good luck to you.
Gentle hugs
