Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

You may not know me, but if I know anything about depression, it's that it is easy to fall victim to it. I wanted to make this post to remind anyone that reads this, to be as strong as you can be. Find good anywhere you feel it may be. When you can't find it, keep looking, and if you get tired of looking, relax. We will all have bad days. Anxiety and depression will relentlessly make us feel like we are the worst people alive. It will be hard for many of you. People you love may not be supportive, loving, or helpful. But someone will try to be. Someone wants to be. And if you can't find that someone, find strength in what you believe in. Maybe that's God. Maybe it's science. Maybe you believe in a little bit of both. Perhaps you can find comfort in something as simple as a game, a book, a tv show, or a movie. Maybe you feel amazing driving around for at least a few minutes feeling the breeze, enjoying the sun's warmth, or feeling the rain. The point is... our days might be hard... but that is ok... because we will be ok. That alone might be the good you find. You will be ok.... I hope this helps.

It's National Doughnut Day!Which three would you like? (never mind the calories, fat, or sugar content; just go with what you would pick if none of that mattered and whatever health issues you might have that would keep you from eating one in real life can be cast aside for this exercise as well... have at it!)
