All SSRI type meds have a theoretical therapeutic dosage. For Paxil it might be 20mg; Zoloft might be 50mg. For Viibryd it is 40mg.
Ill preface my question with the fact that my doc titrates up VERY slowly- much more slowly than other docs I think.
My question: How long after starting the therapeutic dosage did you notice a real difference in how you felt?

Dose depends on how severe your symptoms are. I take 75 mg of Elavil (3 pills) but it can be as much as 300 mg in hospital.
I do not think that it took too much time to get to terapeutic dosage for me. It was risen in couple of days. It is harder to go of it.
Neuroleptic usualy need be increased slowly because they can give horrific sideeffects if they are not correct for person, antidepresants are not so bad.
