Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
All things considered, I think your best support would come from your medical professionals ... weight control, medication adjustments, discharge from where you live, etc. I don't have enough info to give much other advice. Perhaps there are others who can.
I am glad you have posted. If nothing else, sympathy can be found here. One day at a time ... one step at a time .. will take you where you can go.

It sounds like you have a good understanding of where you are and the history of it. By all means work to find out your options. I'd say that the first thing is to look at control of your destiny. Do your sisters have power of attorney over you, or was that a temporary thing? That may be the starting point of regaining some control.
The weight thing is common amongst those of us who take meds for depression and bipolar. Can you talk to your doctors about this? This is especially necessary because you say that the meds are not working as well for you.
Sleep apnea can be related to weight issues, so getting the weight under control may help resolve your sleep issues. (I have sleep issues too, and hope that getting out of the 'over weight' category will help.)
Gentle hugs
