Has anybody heard anything on the generic Abilify that is due out by April the 20th? This last month was 80.00 for me with insurance. I am so anxious to see what's going on. There is a massive legal battle going on for other things. The BIG PHARMA and stock holders are trying their best to hold up and delay it for as long as they can, (while the poor are hoping and praying that finally that can get it for 4 bucks) . The patent ended April 1 2015....Nothing is being said on the internet either. It's just hush, hush.

I work in pharmacy and it can often take awhile for generics to come out even after the patent is up. I haven't heard anything about a generic yet for Abilify.
No, not at this time. The patent for Abilify expires in the USA in April, 2015. Thats currently the earliest date a generic version of Abilify could be available on USA pharmacy shelves. However, generics typically become available in Canada before the US. When a Canadian Generics manufacturer begins production of Aripiprazole we will start to carry it.

$2000. a year for the insurance.
So with that said it costs me basically $8500 a year for health insurance for me and my two boys.
Medications are very expencive in the USA and its because there not regulated , by the government. Just like the petrolium companys raping people for $4 a gallon gas in the USA last year.
I hope you know I'm not trying to put down your country at all lost soul when I say those things....it's just unbelievable to me.
