Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

You know what is best for you. If you think being in a hospital is the right thing than that's what you need to do. At the minimum you need to contact your doctor and let them know what is going on. They might be able to give you a med change to help. But you have to do it for yourself. Put your needs first. Take care of you
I have to drag myself out of bed every morning... I would much rather escape into the world of dreams ... tough but what I need to do.. I have also been trying to get up earlier- easier now than when it is dark and cold.. also makes it better for me to fall asleep at night-- last thing I want to do is start thinking too much before bed!
As for the hospital...it might help. They offer coping skills. If you think it will help and you feel you need to we will be here to support you all the way.

I can't bring myself to do anything ...
I just got up cause I heard a noise outside...looked ...didn't see anything ...opened the door to get the mail....walked to the kitchen...saw that my kitty cat needs some food...walked to the food and saw all the dirty dishes that need washing...before I can fix myself some soup...got frustrated and just walked out of the kitchen...now I have to go to the bathroom and then ....back to bed....this is too hard to handle...I am so tired....
I've been 'sick' for so long...that no one believes me anymore...that I am sick...
even I don't believe it...if your sick...you go to the dr...do what the dr says...and you get better...
well, I've done all that ...but ...I haven't gotten better!!! ...instead I've gotten worse....how the hell can that be?
ugh...i am just so frustrated with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
on my worst/horrible/tough days I get out one of my favorite books or movies and I make myself do something for 15 minutes (I actually set a timer) even if it is just washing my face and brushing my teeth...then I treat myself with a half hour of my book or movie (again the time) then 15 minutes of something that I need/should do-- most of the times it works... on better days I go 45 of 'work' 15 of 'fun'
