to get over this feeling ... my brain knows what it has to do but my body just won't let me do it... I got another emotional kick to the stomach yesterday from a family member and I just don't know what to do anymore...
In 2003 i started on medication for HBP then in 2006 I got laid off and lost my insurance...haven't had insurance since then...went tthrough a bout of depression when I abruptly quit my job in 2008. Got through that all alone. And found what I want to do...but ...my finances didn't allow for HBP meds.
so honestly, I haven't had HBP meds in about a year. developed a wierd stomach pain last month and it got bad enough that it made me go to a clinic...but instead of that the dr was astonished at my blood pressure (which I understand, it's been ABOVE stroke level for a long time) anyway, to make a long story short...I FEEL LIKE CRAP! I went from no meds to 7 or 8 meds including one for anxiety/depression!!! AND everything in my life is just going downhill. I have to work...I have to go to school...MY SON IS GRADUATING IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AND I CAN"T EVEN ENJOY THAT!...HOW long is this going to last...I don't know what to do...my brain tells me what I have to do, but I don't have the energy or strength to do it...I get up after everyone else has left the house..and I see everything that has to be done...and all I want to do is crawl back into bed and go to sleep...then...I start thinking about ALL the things I have to do...and I get restless...so I get up...and SEE all the things I to do and I go right back to bed...it's the same cycle over and over and meanwhile, I'm losing my life one day at a time trying to wait to feel better...when am I going to feel better? I HATE BEING SICK!!!!

So, after starting all these meds your blood pressure is lower? humm...Im sure THAT's a new feeling for ya! and plus a new antidepressnat and anxiety med? wow, I bet you feel all mellowed out now, might be too much for your mind and body to deal with all at one time now. Have you checked your blood pressure since you started taking all the meds? antidepressants have so many side effects and most take 4 to 8 weeks to start working. antianxieties dispell all your irritiblness and aggitation which in your case could mean less get up and go mood. *sigh*
