There is a lot of power to be had from expertly gaining ones trust in the guise of another, then using that knowledge accrued to slowly over time groom and mould a person....influence them......turn them against others.......then hurting them profoundly when the end game is reached.

The knowledge they they, themselves, had the ability to do this, drives them to do it again.

Why?

Why do people murder, rape, molest?

If one feels they cannot affect the life of another in a truly positive way, then they turn to the opposite. The negative. As long as they have that effect on some level or other.

Abuse is power. When love fails.

It's either a sociopathic or psychotic disorder, hon, something that runs against the normal grain of human feeling. Could be a combination of things----there are a number of disorders that make people more destructive than constructive.

No, it doesn't make any sense, from a healthy, normal perspective.

because there are some wires loose in their. perhaps the need for vengeance? and those who get caught in the cross fire are the ones that suffer the most. at the sametime, its easier to be an asshole then a saint. though not socially acceptable in my opinion.

maybe they see it as a game? maybe its like a good game of masquerade and charades, and doing it all is just fun to them. maybe the enjoyment of playing chess with other peoples emotions is like a thrill.

i don't know. i think its wrong and disgusting. i've been to quick to judge, and even on this entire mess, at the beginning i thought ti was just someone having a fit because a friend and them had an argument, but that was before the news of "Dearest," came out. the world is cruel, and that is reflected by its inhabitants.

That is the very reason i left this group and others. People who do that must have nothing better to do than be an asshole.

The fact that human fiction has, for centuries, used villains with many of the traits described thus far shows that we do, at some level, understand.

I just wish that they would leave DS alone.

Since her original banning she has seen this as an affront to her character. Ever since that time she has sought to return and seek some form of vengeance on the community. She thought at one stage she was untouchable, because trust me........it took an AGE for her to FINALLY get banned. Some of us thought it was due to her having some strange financial influence over DS itself, due to her apparent wealth.

So since her eventual banning, coupled with her amazement that she could possible be banned in the first place, she has sought to make her presence known here, and will continue to do so, because she DOES need this place. But due to her being a pariah here, assumes other identities to find her way back into the hearts of others. But she knows that the affection she garnered isn't genuine, because it was never for her. It was always for the character she adopted. So ultimately she would exact some form of retribution out of bitterness of this fact.
