ummmmm.. you 'merely' posted that you heard a dear friend to many of was dead. Without any proof whatsover. when you told me I was very upset and you know that. I never ever meant to ATTACK YOU. I was upset . I knew the post would upset others.

making a STATEMENT about someone dying is a very very strong statement to make.

I know you will percieve this as another attack. It's not. I promise.

I know you are leaving now because of me and I'm sorry for that. I truly am.

I dont know if you will check in, but let me say this. I have seen more than one person attacked in various threads on this site. Sometimes, it did seem like the person being attacked was asking for it. Other times, not so much. Some people seem to think, for whatever reason, that they are the JUDGE of what should and shouldn't be said. Others seem to not be aware of the notices everywhere that say "be nice", "remain positive and helpful", etc. Or maybe they just define it differently.
Anyway, I hope you will come back and let YOUR voice be heard. PEACE

OLDBIKER , for someone I've never friended or talked to, I have tons of respect for you. I've heard your story, and know you very well. A simple man, with a past from hell. You seldom post on my groups, but you're there when your gentle wisdom speaks volumes to a hurting soul. I am no one special, but seldom look up to someone to learn from. Don't let a few silence the gift you been given. Please continue to share with us.

Pee Wee. I truly truly hope you will come back to this group. I have left if it would make it easier for you to be here. I am sorry about everything that happened. I guess because we had been talking about the issue privately and I was very upset and thought you were going to try to gain more information, it just really threw me for a huge loop when I saw you post about it because I know I was triggered and I was afraid it would upset people. I do know your intent was gain information. I do. I didn't handle it well. I should've kept it private. I let my fear and emotion get the best of me and I am truly truly sorry. You are a very valued member on this site and your wisdom and support and advice are needed here. I hope you will listen to what the others have said and come back to the group.

Thanks for the replies. I am still thinking about whether to return to this Group. I don't want issues to arise again, like previously happened because of something I posted but yet, I don't want to abandon those who feel my advice and counsel is valued.

As someone "relatively" new to this site, I assume we all have had, do have or will again have difficulties dealing with various things here. It doesn't seem right to leave each time one of us is hurt or angered. Isn't this why we are here? To learn not to react in the wrong way in any given conversation? To learn to be positive & trusting? In the various state of mind we all go through, I'm impressed that more misunderstandings, or arguments, or negative reactions don't occur. These are opportunities to learn how to deal with others in a positive manner when misunderstandings occur.& take opportunities to think before we write no matter what it might be, no matter whether you are the author of a post or replying to one. My biggest fear on this site is saying something wrong that will hurt or anger someone.

You have been apologized to, which I think was an honest and truly felt apology. You have friends & strangers pleading for you to stay because you give so much to so many. Apparently you are needed by many. It would crush me to lose a friend here. I'm sure it is the same for all that know you & those that read your posts. I hope you will stay for yourself & everyone else.
