I have learned after being here for over a year and a half that there is a very possible chance of having someone you care about walk right out of your life without as much as a goodbye. It's the nature of the site/illnesses people who are a part of this site have.

I have always tried so hard to not take it personally, although a few instances have left me in tears.

I have closed myself off now more than ever. I know I sometimes come across as rather hard to get to know, but it's only because I am in the place you are now with putting my heart on my sleeve and getting hurt.
