the last couple of nights Ive been having nightmares and I just wanted to know if it is normal to feel pain in your dreams?

i dont understand pain like you can feel it while your sleeping and dreaming??

Emotional Pain, yes .......felt it many a time in dreams.....Physical pain.....i'm not sure. If so I don't remember.

Oh yes, very much so. I've been emotionally anguished during dreams and woke up crying.

It's scary because you're not really sure if you're awake or not.

yes, I do the same thing, when I dream sometimes I feel the pain, and it is scary, it wakes yu up too.
This morning I woke up and I had all these ppl chattering in my head, they wouldn't stop chattering to each other...it woke me up, so I could turn off the chatter. lol

I have woken up scared with my cell in my hand with 911 dialed waiting to hit the call button.

I have felt both emotional pain (woke up crying because of it) and physical pain (two dreams that come to mind was I was shot 5 times in the back/head in one of them and stabbed in the stomach in another...and it hurt).

I don't find it unusual at all.

I have lucid dreams all the time where I experience pain, and sometimes for days after.

Me too!!
I will have dreams and yes have pain for days after, mostly thing that tramatized me when in the fast lane ..getting raped and thrown out by the river and so much more. And they seem soooo real.
I cry too, they are very painful.
