Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
If i could have talked to David that mirning I would have said give it one more day. Sometimes that is all it takes. To step away from a decision just long enough to run it through completely from beginning to end. I do not belueve David would have wanted his poor father to find him like that. I do nit believe he would have ever wushed pain on any if the people who lived him, but he couldnt think past the pain he was in. He was swallowed up in that darkness we all feel at times and no one was there to pull him out. We didnt know.
So, no, I. Myself do not believe any God would further condemn someone who is already in hell with their life to an eternity of more suffering. Just my opinion for what its worth.
Im not sure what "God" is. So I hope he is awesome, and does forgive. Giving up is never the answer, these are the lessons we learn. We learn to be good to others no matter how bad our lives are. I read a lot on NDE's.

Reading about people's near-death experiences has profoundly changed how I view life, our reasons for being here, what happens after we die (and yes, suicide, too).
Is God's 'condemnation of suicide' actually written in the Bible? And does the Bible actually state that people who do suicide will spend 'eternity in hell'??
I'm surprised to hear a Catholic say they don't think it's a problem given they are so big on last rights and being "ready" to go.
I think God would welcome us with loving arms if we ave accepted in our hearts the sacrifice His on made to cover our sins to begin with.In Christ all our sins are forgiven, it's not about being good enough to get in. On the contrary it's knowing your not and trust in Christ.
I think God would've wanted us to beat depression cause he wants His children to be happy. But I don't think we would be condemned - He loves us and knows the intense pain we are in.
Selfish....that bugz me a bit. If someone had ALS and wanted to o themselves in are they selfish? It's about being in an intolerable state and seeking relief. The survivors turn it around and make it a about their pain! I interesting topic that could be talked about in circles cause we just don't know!
So here it is, the real truth about "ChloeandMe"....and this is the honest truth to see if the support on this site is real. I have nothing to lose...so here it goes....
I'll let you in on a little secret....I suffer from major depression my whole 46yrs on this planet and struggled with my own identity. (Read some of my posts to get better idea, if you want.) My point is, twice in my life I have attempted suicide for many various reasons but mainly due to my self acceptance. Had a loaded gun to my head 5yrs ago while listening to family and police pleading not to pull the trigger. And as recently as this past July 4th, took a razor and cut my wrist and bled out into the bath tub (didn't want to leave a big mess for family to clean up). Both attempts left me in a mental hospital for various lengths of time for recovery. And those are only the TWO attempts that put me in the mental hospital. That's not counting the times I taped the dryer vent to my car exhaust and the other end in the front seat while sitting for over an hour listening to The Rolling Stones (my favorite group) waiting to "fall asleep". Or the times I tied a noose in the garage attic and stood in that attic debating to jump (but didn't for fear of not being fast and quick). And last, the time I stood in a knee deep bath tub holding the toaster. You know what stopped me that time? My dog, seeing the look on her face as I stood there, she knew something was not right.
I'm currently in counseling and taking it day by day...baby steps.
Trust me, don't wait to be 46 and look back on your life with really nothing to show for it...been there, done that.
OK, thanks for listen and feel free to ask me anything (got nothing hide after this post) if feel like it.
I forgot to also mention another main reason I posted this is maybe it can be of help to anybody else out there suffering....trust me...I wrote the book on depression.
To quote The Rolling Stones (favorite group)..."I've sung that song, I wrote that fucking book..."
I have always been extremely interested in near-death experiences, ever since Raymond Moody and Elisabeth Kubler-Ross wrote their ground-breaking books about NDEs. I have read many books written by doctors and nurses about what their patients who had NDEs told them about their experiences. I am struck by how those who attempted suicide apparently brought their problems with them into the next life, so nothing was really solved.
I don't believe that God sends anyone to hell, but I believe that you can bring your own personal hell with you into the next life - and I believe that He is with us in this life to help us with our hellish states -
