I hope I have helped you some.
I am so sorry that your feelings were hurt. I hope that in time you will be okay. I don't know what happened but if you want to talk about it we are here to support you. I want to wish you the best at your new job.
Hang in there and know that time does heal and I hope you are able to get thru this painful time in your life.
Gentle healing hugs to you.
Daisy, I'm doing my best. Because my credit sucks, I am having trouble finding an apartment in the new city. Which doesnt help. Leaving everything I know and love to start fresh somewhere else. Hoping that will help me leave the past in the rear view mirror. Not really happy about any of it. But it has to be done.
I am grateful for the new job. So many other people are having such a hard time finding jobs, etc. Grateful for a chance to start anew.
And you'll probably have to concentrate on learning things at your new job, so maybe that will be helpful.
Good music can be relaxing.
It's after midnight, which means it's Halloween. October 31. I married the love of my life, my best friend, the only man I ever loved 17 years ago.He left me 3 years ago. I received the final papers 2 years ago.
And that's only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to why I hate this time of year. Putting one foot in front of the other. All I can do right now.
I am so sorry that someone was mean to you. I don't know if this is someone that is a friend or not or if you want to confront them or let it go. I say handle it and do what is best for you. People can be very hurtful and mean. I don't understand it. Maybe it had nothing to do with you and it is them. That does not justify it and it is unacceptable but maybe consider the source and maybe that will help a little bit. A lot of time when people lash out it is really their own stuff but they take it out on other people. It sure doesn't make it hurt any less tho and it is totally NOT acceptable. So sorry that happened to you.
I hope that the person come to their senses and apologizes to you.
In the meantime focus on you and good luck with the move. Keep me posted. I will be sending you good and happy thoughts and vibes. Did you get them? LOL
Also regarding moving and finding another place in a new city.
I would just be honest and someone is bound to give you a chance. They might ask for additional Security Deposit but that is business and I am sure that you can understand. After you show and prove that you are reliable maybe they will give you the additional sec. dep. back and things will be okay. Just take it a moment at a time. Someone has to be willing to give you a chance.
I am not sure if one's issues all magically go away when you move to a new place. It is just geography. Wouldn't that be amazing. The thing is that you take you wherever you go and the issues need to be eventually dealt with cause they have a way of eventually creeping back up in our lives. I wish you nothing but the best in your new apartment. You will find one and things will get better. Don't ever give up and maybe down the road you might even meet a nice man too. You never know what life brings. Hugs to you.
So moving to Baton Rouge is more about what I will leave behind. The hurt, memories, and some ghosts will come with me, I know, but the really hard things will be left here.
I'm feeling a bit better and stronger today. Sometimes just hunkering deep down in my rabbit hole for awhile helps.
Yes, he did apologize for insulting me, but.....ah well. It's just another stone to add to the wall between us that I am building. Forgive? Sure. Forget? Never. EVER.
